It was so fun and I’m very happy with the amount of moves that were included for a beginner session. see all reviewsI really enjoy Erin’s class! She puts a strong focus on proper technique and gives helpful corrections throughout class. The pace is slower and more controlled, which is exactly what I need when I want to step back, focus on my technique, and clean up the details instead of rushing through combinations. She also gives modifications for more advanced students, so the class can still be challenging. Definitely a great class to take when you want to slow down and really work on your technique.

Heads up that the Monday class is labeled as Beginning/Int, but it definitely leans more towards intermediate. All levels of dancers attend this class, but I would not recommend it to total beginners. If you are looking to return to ballet as an adult after many years away from it, this is a great place to restart your journey :)

see all reviewsIt was my first time trying poms and I have limited dance class experience. It was so fun and lively! We ran through an entire routine to Womanizer by Britney Spears. Loved the song choice and big energy of the choreo. The instructor let the class decided when to start from the top and when to keep building on to the routine, which was appreciated. There were specific spots in the choreo where I’d get lost and would forget the next move and the instructor would run through it again, check in with me, and cue the next move. This helped me enjoy it regardless of my skill level. I especially appreciated that he encouraged us to grab our phones and record the full run through to leave class with a memory of the final product.

I saw another review stating the class was full of kids and that the instructor couldn't remember anyone's name, but I have been here twice and there were a couple of younger students in their teens but it was mostly adults. Also, the instructor makes an effort to remember everyone's name and even calls nearly everyone's name out for corrections/feedback. It's a great place to go if you are working to be a better dancer!
