see all reviewsOne - I’m glad they don’t let late people come in - this is probably the most beautiful yoga studio I’ve been to in the city and I’m glad the teachers are protecting the serenity of the space. Two - our teacher - as lovely as he was - spent more time walking around the room correcting people’s postures, rather than demonstrating the poses upfront, which caused me to feel a little lost (he also used the Sanskrit terms almost exclusively, which made it even more difficult to follow along). But, at the same time, I recognize the value of having someone personally correct your form; also, perhaps the students who come to this class come regularly, so that they are already familiar with the sequence and prefer having personal guidance instead . Overall, this was an incredibly positive experience - our teacher Donald has a beautiful voice and presence, and I look forward to taking his classes again.

see all reviewsReally enjoyed this class. I felt welcomed and encouraged to participate. I think I might have been a little lost if I didn’t have some background with Ashtanga, but the teacher was helpful and did a lot of demonstrations and provided gentle adjustments. I look forward to visiting again!

see all reviewsHealing Energy flow was a combination of Kundalini yoga, Ayurvedic moves, tai chi and a faster-paced Vinyasa flow. It was more energetic and intermediate/advanced than I assumed from the description both on classpass and the studio website, just a heads up. I loved the drumming and chimes, and would love to see the class evolve to be even more focused on somatics and trauma release! That could be so special for the neighborhood. What a cool offering.

see all reviewsI’d give the class itself a great review, but the check-in experience was honestly one of the most awkward experiences I’ve had using ClassPass. I booked Hot Yoga Sculpt through ClassPass and arrived expecting to take the class like normal. I was then pulled aside and told that because I apparently had used a different ClassPass email at this studio back in 2022, they would not honor my ClassPass reservation today. I had absolutely no idea this was an issue when I booked. I ended up having to pay an additional $15 just to take the class I had already reserved with ClassPass credits. Then I was told that next week I should be fine using ClassPass, which made the whole situation even more confusing. The explanation I was given was essentially, “we won’t get paid.” I understand that businesses need to be paid, but any payment or account issue between the studio and ClassPass should be handled with ClassPass, not put on the student after they’ve already booked and arrived for class. That being said, Jess was AWESOME. I loved her class, loved the workout, and really liked the studio itself. I’m actually planning to book again because the class was that good. But the front desk/management interaction and this policy were really off-putting. I take a lot of fitness classes at different studios, and I’ve never experienced anything quite like this. Between losing/using my ClassPass credits and then being asked to pay additional money once I was already there, it felt unnecessarily transactional and honestly like a money grab. Great instructor, great class, nice studio. Very strange customer service experience and a policy that I think the studio needs to work out directly with ClassPass rather than putting customers in an uncomfortable position.
