see all reviewsI’ve been to Sui Yoga at least 4 times (including this class) and i always enjoy my time there. The ambience, the class structure, and the instructors are always nice. I like how the class starts out with some stretches, then it gets intense and it always ends with some breathing exercises and stretches as well. They change the lighting according to what part of the class we’re in so towards the end they always dim the lights or they completely shut off. You also get some red light as well. They always set the tone and energy for the room and class.

see all reviewsLOVED this class and trinity’s energy. I’m not usually a fan of super heated workouts because I find them a little overstimulating, but she made sure not to have us move too quick so we didn’t get exhausted in the heat. I’ll definitely go back for more that was great and I feel so energized after!

see all reviewsJake is an amazing instructor - so welcoming and supportive! He gave really clear cues and made sure we kept coming back to the breath, which I’ve found some more fitness-focused yoga studios lack. The class had a great flow and was the perfect balance between challenging and restorative. I felt so much better after - both in body and mind. The studio itself is a welcoming, clean and peaceful space and the reception team were super lovely and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good yoga class in NYC 👌

see all reviewsOne - I’m glad they don’t let late people come in - this is probably the most beautiful yoga studio I’ve been to in the city and I’m glad the teachers are protecting the serenity of the space. Two - our teacher - as lovely as he was - spent more time walking around the room correcting people’s postures, rather than demonstrating the poses upfront, which caused me to feel a little lost (he also used the Sanskrit terms almost exclusively, which made it even more difficult to follow along). But, at the same time, I recognize the value of having someone personally correct your form; also, perhaps the students who come to this class come regularly, so that they are already familiar with the sequence and prefer having personal guidance instead . Overall, this was an incredibly positive experience - our teacher Donald has a beautiful voice and presence, and I look forward to taking his classes again.

see all reviewsThis class was intense, but so worth it! I would say the heated room which ranged from 100-105 degrees made the workouts more challenging. Jennifer was AMAZING! She made everybody feel seen, welcomed and acknowledged everyone by name when they were doing a great job. I would go back here just for her classes. That’s how great she is. Also, it was so inspiring to see a beautiful strong older woman because it makes you even more motivated, like I want to be fit just like her!

Maya is an experienced Hot26 teacher and precise in instructions and timing, but also added personal touch with specific alignment and weaving in life lessons. She was warm and attentive to students- giving personal feedback but also looking after new students . There are few students in the class that needs modifications and Maja was able to hold the space not only with grace but with confident knowledge. I have been practicing Hot26 for years and bode is one of my favourite studios in the world because of the quality of the teachers. Because they have great teachers, there are lots of regular students, creating a great environment to practice - discipline but also warm community. They give you a mat towel and a small towel when you sign up for classes, while mat and bath towels are for rent. This studio is old, but functional . Don’t expect fancy decor, but you come here for the yoga. The cold eucalyptus towel they hand to you after class is a great touch. Front staff is also super welcoming.
