    YS Aerial Yoga

Fun intro to aerial yoga! Megan is a very enthusiastic, experienced teacher with clear instructions. I would go into it expecting to learn something new and try yoga poses with the silks, but not necessarily expecting a workout class since there’s more instruction to get used to the form. Would recommend!

    AntiGravity® Strength & Stretch – Aerial Condition

Such an energizing workout. This class has a great balance of deep stretches and core strengthening workouts. Quekan is friendly, kind and clear in her instructions. She offers adjustments if an inversion may be too intense, so it’s adaptive for various levels. I highly recommend this studio as it’s spacious, clean and has a variety of different classes.

Really really fun class! We went through and learned a lot more sequences than I thought we would for an intro class. Adriane was fantastic, helped us out one on one, and adjusted the class based on our progress. Very welcoming

Intro to Pole *FIRST TIME STUDENTS AND UP*

Def a great intro to pole as I got to start with a static pole instead of a spin pole I had used for my first time in a pole in another studio. It’s hard but very beginner friendly.

    Gym Time

This is a great gym! The front desk staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and understanding. The recent addition of a SkiErg is also a great upgrade! One small request for the next equipment investment: could we please get some 15 kg women’s Olympic competition barbells as well? I noticed the gym currently only has 20 kg men’s bars. A small PSA: the women’s bar isn’t just a men’s bar with 5 kg taken off! 😄 The women’s competition bar has a 25 mm shaft, compared with 28 mm for the men’s bar, and also differs in length and specifications. That thinner grip makes a real difference, particularly for the hook grip used in cleans and snatches. The 20 kg bar is great for deadlifts, but for explosive Olympic lifts like cleans, snatches, and overhead movements, bar diameter and handling matter. Not everyone has hands like Shrek! 😂 Some of us have smaller hands, and the thinner bar allows us to establish a secure grip and focus on proper technique. It would be great to see the gym invest in equipment that supports all lifters. Our hands may be smaller, but our lifting goals certainly aren’t! 💪
