see all reviewsI love this beginner Kickboxing class! Bring your own gloves and hand wraps, or they have a few loaner ones. After a warm up, you are paired with a similar experience partner to switch doing moves and holding the sparring pads. Some people are more experienced and provide helpful feedback. The coach Kenny was super knowledgeable and patient with teaching how to do kickboxing moves properly and safely. Great encouraging energy from the class! Plan ahead to find metered street parking, you may have to drive around for a spot or walk a block to get to the studio.

The class had a calm, grounded energy while still giving me a great workout. I really appreciated how Suzanne met me where I was in my practice—challenging me without ever making me feel pressured or out of place. Her instruction was clear, encouraging, and thoughtful throughout the entire class. I left feeling like I had worked hard, but also relaxed and centered. Suzanne creates exactly the kind of environment that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend her class!
