Beginner Intermediate Ballet
see all reviewsI loved it. Intense but very authentic ballet experience as someone who hasn’t taken a ballet class in 10 years. Will be scheduling again.

see all reviewsGreat workout! Very intense and fast-paced with music, and you definitely feel the burn. The 50-minute class has almost no breaks, so I wouldn’t recommend this particular class for complete beginners. If you’re looking for a challenging, high-energy workout, though, this is a great choice.

see all reviewsThe best music, instructor, and studio I’ve experienced so far! They provide everything you need, so all you have to do is show up. Tamia is an outstanding instructor who keeps everyone motivated and makes sure no one gets left behind. She pays attention to those who are struggling and encourages them to keep going. I also love the studio’s setup, especially the elevated platform and the huge glass wall overlooking Union Square Park. It makes the whole experience even more enjoyable! This was my first Pilates class since I usually practice yoga, and I’m so glad I chose this one. I loved the slow, controlled pace and the repetitions because they gave me enough time to focus on my form while following Tamia’s instructions on which muscles to engage and where to feel the tension. I absolutely loved the class, the energy, and the instructor. I think I’ve found my new Pilates home! ❤️

see all reviewsNicole was super fun and she had the best energy in an instructor I’ve ever experienced!!!! It was easy to follow but got my heart rate up, and when I thought I couldn’t move anymore, she would put in these slower steps that got me recovered….. and repeat!!! It was so nice that WHENEVER I saw her she was smiling and had the positive energy even when everybody looked so serious, because we wish we could smile we just couldn’t! Nicole really kept up the energy and fun in the class!!

see all reviewsAmazing class! I really enjoyed the beginner class with Liron. She was incredibly kind and enthusiastic throughout the class. She explained every movement clearly and step by step, which made it easy to follow and build a strong foundation. I also really appreciated how detailed her guidance was, especially with the positioning of the arms and legs. She made sure everyone understood each movement and felt comfortable. Highly recommend!

see all reviewsI’ve been looking for a sauna where I can escape the Karen energy and finance-bro crowd, and truly feel safe and comfortable as a nonbinary person. This place was such a wonderful experience! If you’re nonbinary, trans, or part of the LGBTQ+ community and looking for a welcoming space to relax, recharge, and reconnect with yourself, I highly recommend it. I felt safe, respected, and at ease. Everyone was kind, and it was refreshing to be in a space where I could simply exist and enjoy the experience without feeling judged. 💜

see all reviewsI was filled with Mirth the moment I read that this was to be the last dance of the spring season. Like Lily Bart losing her purpose after her fall from grace, I would be bereft if not for the kind community at CDNY who have embraced me. The hospitality of the dear friends I've made here truly transcends any genre. Whether you're on the ascent or you're merely coasting by, a good time can always be found. Gussy up, come down!
