I took the C2 with my husband who is a lot newer to Yoga and he suggested doing a C1 and gave him a lot of pointers after the class. Felt very welcome in the studio. FYI for other first timers, this is a true low rep lift class to build strength… this is not a fast high rep class with a lot of stations etc. Anyone can try and adjust their weights as needed but I think it is helpful if you have some weight lifting experience. The workout is a combo of strength training and cardio, which keeps things balanced and not boring. Class is definitely challenging, but still very doable no matter your fitness level. Joshua is super knowledgeable and attentive to form, which made me feel both safe and supported throughout the class. They know how to push you just the right amount, encouraging you to go a little harder without feeling overwhelmed. On top of that, the studio itself is clean and welcoming.
