see all reviewsI’ve been going to The Good Place every now and then, but this was my first time attending a cadillac reformer class. I’m glad Tramaine was my coach for my first time. There were two of us newbies in class, and Tramaine introduced us to the cadillac and its parts. She was very warm and friendly and made us feel supported the entire class. She paid attention to our form and corrected us when needed. Towards the end of class, we had an option of trying the inversion. I was able to do it while she spotted me. It was fun and I’d definitely go again!

see all reviewsGreat class - the instructor was very energetic and good and explaining the exercises. I typically don’t like circuit classes because it’s hard for me to remember what to do and the proper form when they show you several exercises at once. In this class, instructor demonstrates the exercise and then the class does 3 rounds of it together with short breaks in between, then she will demonstrate the next exercise so you just go one at a time which i like. We did arm exercises with weights, one round on the TRX , squats with weights , bridge lifts with weights, push ups, core exercises, and a short but doable cardio burst at the end. So you do truly get a full body workout, but not crazy intense, definitely doable for a beginner and still a great workout for someone more advanced. She provides modifications and encourages everyone to go at their own pace. Only suggestion : it was my first time and there was no introduction or instruction on what to do when i arrived. Two students were already there so i just looked at their equipment and looked around the room for the same things and set up the way they were. So i would suggest maybe letting students know what equipment they need when they come in. Also, at the end of class i would suggest leaving a few minutes open to do stretches together after the workout. Overall great class i would definitely take it again

see all reviewsThis is one of the best pole fitness related classes I’ve ever taken. It was a mix of Mat Pilates and flexibility/conditioning (no pole work). Jenny was structured, had clear communication and I feel like I learned new moves to work on flexibility and strength. The only PSA I would give is to bring your own mat! The studio ones just aren’t as supportive and certain moves hurt a bit doing on a harder surface so I would definitely bring a comfy mat if you can.

see all reviewsIt was not at all what I expected, but it was super chill. It was an empty studio to myself with access to a speaker. It was in the back of an adult store. The staff was nice. The studio did have a window that looked out to the store, but it had curtains although they were kind of sheer so I did feel like a couple times. There were men peeping in and there’s a one-way hallway that leads to the studio so at times I didn’t feel the safest. I could also just be paranoid because the screen runs over the building. It sounds like and it’s super loud and at one point, I thought I heard a banging on the door. The door does lock though and you have to have a passcode to get in so that made me feel better. Anyways, it’s a cool place, especially if you’re already an experienced dancer and need an empty studio to practice whereas I have no idea what I’m doing. I was just having fun, but it was still a good time.
