see all reviewsHands down best yin yoga experience I’ve ever had. Shay’s voice and hands on assist were the perfect ending to my day. Before class, I also appreciated Lisa warmly greeting me and walking me through the space. After class, I appreciated even more that she thoughtfully heated up water for a hot tea to close out my night. It’s the care and intention for me.

see all reviewsGreat instructor. Beginner friendly! Very knowledgeable. This class was reasonably challenging (similar to Pilates). Clean facility. I only left one star off because I’m not a huge fan of the carpet. Although it appeared clean since it is an ivory color, the idea of some of the exercises requiring me to lay my head on the floor, wasn’t exactly what i felt too comfortable with (as a lot of people are dripping sweat into the carpet. Also, I’ve been to other facilities that do practice sanitization between the props and i didn’t see the here. We didn’t spray or wipe down any of our sweaty, used props. Instead, we just stacked them for the next class to use. Wasn’t the biggest deal to me but it was something I noticed. Again, the class was beneficial, it was challenging but you are welcomed as a beginner you just may have to watch others or place yourself in front of the instructor. I love the location is convenient and it was only a handful of us in the class.

Dana is clearly a seasoned instructor and knows how to challenge the attendees without making them miserable. I tend to avoid some traditional ab exercises at some Pilates classes with diastasis in mind, but Dana seemed to be conscious of working the deeper core muscles. The timing of everything seemed perfect and I enjoyed the 45 minutes not dragging out.

see all reviewsYantong was highly knowledgeable and very patient and kind. He adjusted the class to our experience levels and I had a blast! I think there’s a common misconception that tai chi is for older people due to its slow pace. I disagree! The movements were more challenging to hold due to the pace, and it forced me to actually be mindful about my form (as opposed to blasting through reps). Additionally, the core work and forms involved prepare you for this and other martial arts. The teacher is great and the studio was easy to find in the fitness center. Highly recommend!
